FallTech 7015B Contractor Plus 1D Standard Non-Belted Mating Buckle Harness

CSA Z259.10-2018 Class A
Key Specifications Single Dorsal D-Ring Mating Buckle Chest + Legs Steel Hardware Sizes XS–3X

The FallTech 7015B Contractor Plus is the mating-buckle economy 1D harness — fully CSA Z259.10 Class A certified with FallTech's integrated dorsal SRL sleeve, padded air-mesh shoulder yoke, and structured waist pad. Mating buckles on both chest and legs offer faster don/doff than tongue buckles at a lower cost than Visi-Lock quick-connect. The right choice for crews that need budget-friendly compliance with moderate speed.

Overview

The 7015B is the 7016 Contractor Plus with mating-buckle chest and legs instead of tongue-buckle legs and mating-buckle chest. The fully mating-buckle configuration is slightly faster to don than the 7016 and eliminates the "two different buckle types" learning curve some crews have with mixed-buckle harnesses. Steel hardware, low-profile torso adjusters, and the same integrated dorsal SRL sleeve. CSA Z259.10-2018 Class A and ANSI Z359.11-2014 certified. Sizes XS through 3X cover the full crew range.

Key Features

Mating Buckle Chest + Legs

Consistent mating-buckle closure on all three straps. Thread-through-and-ratchet mechanism is faster than tongue buckles and simpler than QC.

Padded Air-Mesh Shoulder Yoke

Ventilated shoulder padding breathes well in warm conditions — a legitimate comfort advantage in summer construction.

Structured Waist Support Pad

Reinforced waist pad supports the lower back during active work and gives a stable mounting surface for a tool belt.

Integrated Dorsal SRL Sleeve

Built-in routing sleeve for personal SRL attachment at the dorsal D-ring.

Low-Profile Torso Adjusters

Slim torso strap profile works comfortably under jackets or work vests.

Steel Hardware

Durable plated alloy steel dorsal D-ring and torso rollers — proven, cost-effective.

How to Choose the Right Harness

The 7015B is the mating-buckle economy 1D non-belted harness. For tongue-buckle legs, the FallTech 7016 Contractor is the same platform with a slightly different buckle mix. For mid-tier comfort with tri-layer padding, step up to the FallTech 7006B or 7008B Tradesman Plus. For the 3D belted version of the Contractor Plus, look at the FallTech 7073B.

Compliance & Standards

Primary: CSA Z259.10-2018 Class A

Also Certified: ANSI Z359.11-2014

Provincial Coverage: Meets all Canadian provincial and territorial OHS requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the 7015B compare to the 7016?
Both are economy 1D Contractor Plus harnesses. The 7016 has mating-buckle chest and tongue-buckle legs. The 7015B has mating buckles everywhere. Both are fully CSA Z259.10 certified and meet the same compliance requirements. Choose mating-buckle legs (7015B) if you want faster adjustment and don't need tongue-buckle precision fit.
Is mating buckle really faster than tongue buckle?
Yes — mating buckles thread through a single connection point and ratchet closed. Tongue buckles thread through individual grommets one at a time. For routine don/doff with gloves on, mating buckles save meaningful time.
Why choose an economy harness over mid-tier?
Cost. Economy harnesses are fully compliant and work fine for occasional use. Mid-tier harnesses (Tradesman Plus, Journeyman Flex) add tri-layer padding, Visi-Lock buckles, and other comfort features that matter for daily-wear crews. If a worker wears a harness once a week for a single task, an economy harness is the right spend.
What lanyard or SRL pairs with this harness?
Any CSA Z259.11 shock-absorbing lanyard or CSA Z259.2.2 self-retracting lifeline connects to the dorsal D-ring. Browse our lanyards and SRLs.
