What is the difference between the RPA062R and the RPA062RA?
The hooks: the RPA062R has steel rebar hooks; the RPA062RA (also on FPC) has aluminum rebar hooks. Webbing, housing, length and ratings are the same.
Why aramid webbing instead of polyester?
Frontline builds the RPA lifelines from aramid fibre with UHMWPE for lightweight, extreme impact strength; choose it where the lifeline sees heat, sparks or abrasion.
Can the RPA062R be used for foot-level or leading-edge tie-off?
Frontline does not list this unit as a leading-edge (LE) SRL. For foot-level tie-off over an edge, use a leading-edge rated SRL such as the Frontline RPG082RLE.
How often should the RPA062R be inspected?
Before every use, and formally by a competent person at least once a year. Remove it from service after any fall and follow Frontline's service schedule.
