Is the Frontline WDJ50 CSA certified? Compliance in Canada

Is the Frontline WDJ50 CSA certified?

No. Frontline rates it to OSHA 1926 Subpart M, OSHA 1910 and ANSI Z359.18-2017. For CSA-marked anchors, see our Safety Direct range.

What opening sizes fit the WDJ50?

Door or window frames from 22 in to 50 in wide, per Frontline. Measure the clear opening between the vertical jambs.

Does the WDJ50 damage the frame?

It is non-penetrating and uses non-skid protective pads to protect the finishes. The frame and wall must still be sound enough to take the load; confirm with a competent person.

How many workers can tie off to the WDJ50?

Frontline rates the user capacity at 310 lb; treat it as a single-user anchor unless Frontline's instructions say otherwise.

How often should the WDJ50 be inspected?

Before every use, and formally by a competent person at least once a year. Retire it after any fall or if the arms, pads or D-ring are damaged.

Pair the Frontline WDJ50 anchor with an SRL or lanyard

The WDJ50 is the anchorage connector. Add a full-body harness and an SRL or shock-absorbing lanyard (or a restraint lanyard) for a complete system.
