Built from strong polyester webbing and galvanized-steel hardware, with a 5,000 lb (22.2 kN) minimum tensile strength; ANSI rated 130-310 lb. For fall arrest or restraint only — not for leading-edge/foot-level tie-off.

Many Canadian sites accept ANSI/OSHA-rated equipment, but confirm with your site safety officer and provincial OHS authority before use. What is the Malta Dynamics C5010 D-ring extender for?
It adds 18" of reach to the harness dorsal D-ring so a worker can attach and release a lanyard more easily without help. The O-ring on the extension becomes the connection point.

When should the Malta Dynamics C5010 extender not be used?
It is not suitable for leading-edge or foot-level tie-off, work positioning, suspension, or rescue. Use it only for fall arrest or restraint with compatible components limiting arrest forces to 1,800 lb or less.
How often should the Malta Dynamics C5010 be inspected?
Before every use, and formally by a competent person at least once a year. Remove it from service after any fall or if the inspection finds deformation, cuts, corrosion or other damage.
