Positioning Is Not Fall Arrest
The derrick belt holds the worker in place at the work face — it does not arrest a fall. Always connect the dorsal D-ring to an approved fall arrest system (SRL or energy-absorbing lanyard plus certified anchorage) whenever there is a fall hazard, and inspect the harness before each use.
CSA Z259.10-18 Certified
