Frequently asked questions
Is the Super Anchor Safety ARS series CSA certified for Canadian jobsites?
No. The ARS series is certified to ANSI Z359.18 and OSHA 1926.502 — not CSA Z259. Many Canadian sites accept ANSI/OSHA-rated equipment, but confirm with your authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) before use.
How much load does this anchor hold?
It meets the 5,000 lb (22.2 kN) anchorage requirement for a single worker in fall arrest. The supporting structure must also be able to carry the rated load.
How often should the anchor be inspected?
Inspect the anchor and your full personal fall arrest system before each use, and remove it from service if you find any deformation, cracking, corrosion or other damage.
