Fall Protection British Columbia
WorkSafeBC-compliant roof anchors, harnesses, lanyards, and PPE β Canada-stocked and shipped fast to Vancouver, Victoria, Kelowna, and every corner of British Columbia.
British Columbia has one of the most active WorkSafeBC enforcement environments in Canada β and its geography makes fall risk a daily reality across dozens of industries. From the steep-pitched residential roofs of Vancouver's suburbs and the North Shore to the flat commercial rooftops of downtown Vancouver and Burnaby, from forestry operations in the Interior to mining sites in northern BC, workers at height need equipment that meets the province's own standards. Fall Protection Canada supplies CSA-compliant fall protection equipment that satisfies WorkSafeBC OHS Regulation Part 11 β stocked in Canada, shipped fast province-wide, and backed by people who understand BC's specific 22.2 kN anchor requirement. No US warehouse sourcing. No customs delays on the safety gear you need for your next job.
Fall Protection Equipment for BC Worksites
Every product we carry is vetted against CSA Z259 standards and suitable for British Columbia worksites regulated under the Workers Compensation Act and WorkSafeBC OHS Regulation Part 11.
Roof Anchors β 22.2 kN WorkSafeBC Rated
BC's OHS Regulation requires fall arrest anchors capable of withstanding 22.2 kN β higher than most provinces. We carry permanent and temporary anchors that meet or exceed this threshold for shingle, standing seam, TPO, and built-up flat roofs common across Greater Vancouver and the BC Interior.
Horizontal Lifeline Systems for Commercial Rooftops
BC's dense urban commercial and industrial building stock β from Vancouver high-rises to Burnaby warehouse parks and Kelowna retail rooftops β often requires engineered horizontal lifeline systems for ongoing rooftop access. We supply CSA Z259.13 compliant systems with PE documentation for WorkSafeBC inspector submission.
Full-Body Harnesses β Mandatory for Fall Arrest in BC
WorkSafeBC requires a full-body harness as part of any personal fall arrest system. We stock CSA Z259.10 certified harnesses suited to BC's wide range of work environments: steep residential roofing in the Lower Mainland, forestry platforms, industrial facilities, and high-rise construction.
Shock-Absorbing Lanyards & SRLs
WorkSafeBC requires lanyards used in fall arrest systems to include a shock absorber certified to CSA Z259.11. We carry compliant lanyards and self-retracting lifelines suited to rooftop work, elevated platforms, and the varied worksites found across BC's construction and resource sectors.
Vertical Lifelines for Ladders & Climbable Structures
Fixed ladders, communication towers, and industrial structures over 3 metres require continuous fall protection in BC. We carry vertical lifeline systems certified to CSA Z259.2.4 and Z259.2.5, covering the towers, ladders, and climbable structures found across BC's telecom, forestry, and utilities sectors.
BC-Ready Fall Protection Kits
Pre-matched fall protection kits built around WorkSafeBC OHS Regulation Part 11 requirements β CSA-certified full-body harness, shock-absorbing lanyard, and a 22.2 kN rated roof anchor. Suitable for roofing crews, general contractors, and facilities teams across British Columbia. Documentation available for WorkSafeBC inspector review.
What BC Law Requires
Under the Workers Compensation Act and WorkSafeBC OHS Regulation Part 11, workers exposed to a fall of 3 metres or more must be protected by a guardrail, travel restraint, or personal fall arrest system β and a written fall protection plan is mandatory when guardrails are not used.

Key Differences in BC's OHS Regulation
British Columbia's fall protection rules include requirements that differ from other Canadian provinces β know them before you order.
22.2 kN Anchor Minimum
BC's fall arrest anchor requirement of 22.2 kN is significantly higher than the 16 kN standard used in most other Canadian provinces. Every anchor we supply for BC fall arrest applications meets this threshold β confirmed by CSA Z259.15 certification and product test data available on request.
Written Fall Protection Plan
WorkSafeBC OHS Regulation Section 11.3 requires a written fall protection plan whenever workers may fall 3m or more and guardrails are not used. The plan must identify hazards, describe the fall protection systems, and outline rescue procedures. The plan must be kept at the worksite and available to WorkSafeBC officers.
Shock Absorber Required
WorkSafeBC requires that lanyards used as part of a fall arrest system include a shock absorber certified to CSA Z259.11. This applies to all lanyards β including those used on BC construction, roofing, and industrial sites. We only stock lanyards that meet this requirement.
Leading Edge & Unguarded Openings
WorkSafeBC Part 11 includes specific requirements for leading edge work and unguarded floor and roof openings β common on BC's active construction sites. Travel restraint and fall arrest systems must be configured to prevent the worker from reaching the unprotected edge. We can advise on the right system for your site configuration.

Why BC Contractors Order From Us
We exist because British Columbia contractors deserve a supplier who understands Canadian safety law and keeps product on Canadian soil β not a US warehouse with a Canadian checkout.
We Know BC's OHS Regulation
The 22.2 kN anchor rule, the written fall protection plan requirement, the shock absorber mandate β we know Part 11 specifically, not just "fall protection in general." That means you get the right product for BC the first time, not a return and reorder.
Canada-Stocked, BC-Fast
We ship from Canadian inventory β no cross-border sourcing, no duty on safety gear, no week-long delays at customs. Vancouver, Victoria, and Kelowna typically see fast courier delivery; remote northern BC and Interior addresses are no problem either.
Straight Answers, No Runaround
WorkSafeBC officers don't accept "we weren't sure." Call or text us before you order β we'll tell you exactly which anchor, harness, and lanyard combination satisfies Part 11 for your specific roof type and worksite conditions in British Columbia.
WorkSafeBC-Ready Documentation
WorkSafeBC officers and building inspectors want paperwork. We provide product submittals, engineering documentation, and compliance packages on request β so your BC fall protection plan has the backup it needs to pass inspection.
