The Frontline RPAS Self Retracting Lifeline is your go-to solution when working at heights and a quick safety reaction is of the utmost importance. Engineered to engage within seconds of a fall, the RPAS limits free fall distance and lessens the impact forces generated on the body — delivering a safer working experience across all industries.
The RPAS lifeline is constructed from Aramid fiber webbing with UHMWPE (Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene) — a premium material combination delivering extreme high-impact strength at a fraction of the weight of conventional steel cable SRLs. The result is an exceptionally lightweight, compact unit that is easy to transport and keeps the lifeline continuously out of the worker's way to reduce snags, trip hazards, and fatigue.
Manufactured to exceed expectations and independently tested by an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited third-party laboratory, the RPAS is built rugged, built to last, and built to give workers the confidence they need to perform their jobs with complete peace of mind whenever fall protection is required.
Aramid Fiber + UHMWPE Webbing
Premium lifeline material combines aramid fiber with ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene for extreme impact strength at a dramatically reduced weight versus conventional steel cable SRLs.
Lightweight & Compact Design
Exceptionally light and compact, the RPAS is easy to transport between locations and keeps the lifeline continuously clear of the worker's path — reducing snags, trip hazards, and fatigue throughout the shift.
Inbuilt Textile Shock Pack
Integrated textile shock pack with protective cover limits average arresting fall forces to 1,350 lbs and maximum fall arrest distance to 42". The protective cover helps preserve shock pack integrity over time.
Quick-Action Braking System
Fast-engaging braking system arrests descent within seconds of a fall event, limiting free fall distance and protecting the worker from high-energy impact forces.
Swiveling Top & Side Lifeline Exit
Swiveling housing top allows for flexible anchor attachment orientation, while the side lifeline exit keeps the webbing clear and reduces the risk of tangling or interference during movement.
Rugged Thermoplastic Housing
Durable thermoplastic casing protects internal components on demanding job sites, making the RPAS a reliable fall protection device built to withstand daily worksite conditions.

Post-Fall Inspection & Removal from Service
Any SRL subjected to a fall must be immediately removed from service and returned to the manufacturer for inspection before being considered for re-use. Inspect the unit before each use in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and applicable provincial OHS regulations. Do not return to service if the shock pack protective cover shows signs of activation or damage.
Built for Canadian Worksites
