Pre-Use Inspection & Post-Fall Requirements
Inspect both the harness and lanyard before every use. Check all webbing for cuts, abrasions, burns, and UV degradation. Use the contrasting stitching as your primary stitching inspection reference. Check the fall indicator on the harness back straps and the lanyard impact indicators — if either has activated, both components must be immediately removed from service and replaced. Any harness or lanyard subjected to a fall must not be returned to service regardless of apparent condition. Follow manufacturer guidelines and applicable provincial OHS regulations at all times.
