The Frontline MEGA Swivel STM58 is a reusable bolt-on anchor for steel whose D-ring rotates a full 360° and flips back and forth through 180°, so it follows the worker instead of side-loading. A patent-pending key lock keeps the D-ring seated in its swivel housing under heavy loads, and the bolt is replaceable when the anchor moves to the next work area. Choose the 10K zinc-plated steel anchor (STM5810K), the 316 stainless 5K anchor (STM585K-SS) for exterior and corrosive sites, or the SWX100N reinforcement back plate that lets either MEGA Swivel through-bolt to thick concrete or reinforced block walls.

10K Steel (STM5810K): heat-treated, zinc-plated alloy steel, 10,000 lbf (44 kN) static tensile strength, 1.4 lb, replacement bolt STM5810KRB.
316 Stainless 5K (STM585K-SS): stainless steel for exterior use and corrosion resistance, 5,000 lbf (22 kN) static tensile strength, 1.2 lb, replacement bolt STM585K-SSRB.
Reinforcement Backing Plate (SWX100N): a 4 in x 6 in, 1/4 in thick powder-coated steel plate with a clearance hole for a 5/8 in bolt, for mounting a 5K or 10K MEGA Swivel to reinforced cinder block walls, thick concrete walls, industrial air conditioners, chillers and metal structures. Bolt not included: use a 5/8 in (16 mm) bolt or all-thread rod with the nut fully threaded on.

Is the Frontline MEGA Swivel STM58 CSA certified?
No. It meets or exceeds ANSI Z359.18, ANSI Z359.7, OSHA 1910.140, OSHA 1926.503 and EN 795:2012. Check with your authority having jurisdiction whether an ANSI/OSHA anchor is accepted on your site.
Can the MEGA Swivel be mounted on a concrete wall?
With the SWX100N reinforcement back plate it can be through-bolted to thick concrete walls or reinforced cinder block, using a 5/8 in bolt or all-thread rod. The 10K and stainless 5K anchors themselves are steel anchors.
Should I choose the 10K steel or the stainless 5K anchor?
The 10K zinc-plated steel anchor has the higher 10,000 lbf rating. The 316 stainless 5K anchor is rated 5,000 lbf and resists corrosion for exterior and wet sites.
Is the Frontline MEGA Swivel anchor reusable?
Yes. Replace the bolt (STM5810KRB for the 10K, STM585K-SSRB for the stainless 5K) and move the anchor to the next work area.
How many workers can tie off to one MEGA Swivel?
One, up to 310 lb. It can also serve as an end anchor in a temporary horizontal lifeline with other approved anchors.
