The Frontline VLP+RGSS58ES Premium Vertical Lifeline is a complete rope lifeline kit for climbing and descending on roofs, scaffolds and swing stages: a 25 ft or 50 ft 3-strand polysteel rope (5/8 in), an openable self-tracking steel rope grab with a double locking closure, and a 3 ft shock-absorbing lanyard with an integrated shock pack and a snaphook for your harness back D-ring. The grab opens with one screw, so it goes on anywhere along the line instead of threading from the end.

How to set up the Frontline VLP+RGSS58ES rope grab
Anchor the lifeline to a rated anchor above the work. Unscrew the one screw on the rope grab, open it, feed the rope in, and screw it closed. Clip the 3 ft shock lanyard's snaphook to your harness back D-ring and the grab tracks with you as you move up and down.
