The Standing Seam SRL Pro Kit is a one-worker fall arrest system for standing seam metal roofs: an SSRA1 non-penetrating seam anchor, a Frontline 110CTB Combat Lite harness and a Frontline RPGC30 30 ft galvanized cable self-retracting lifeline, packed in a carry bag. With 30 ft of cable the worker can cover a full panel run from one anchor placement instead of moving a short SRL every few feet.

Every component in this kit is tested to ANSI and OSHA requirements by ISO/IEC 17025-accredited labs. None of them carries a CSA Z259 mark, so confirm acceptance with your authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) on CSA-governed Canadian sites. A qualified person should confirm the seam can carry the anchor load and that there is enough fall clearance below the roof edge for a 30 ft SRL before the kit goes to work.

Why a 30 ft cable SRL instead of a 6 ft one?
Reach. A 6 ft SRL keeps the worker within arm's length of the anchor; the RPGC30 lets one anchor at the ridge cover a full panel run, ridge to eave, with the cable paying out and retracting as the worker moves. Galvanized cable also shrugs off the screw tips and panel edges that can nick a webbing lifeline.
Does the SSRA1 damage the panels?
No. It clamps to the standing seam with stainless steel set screws and comes off without leaving a hole. It is approved for 22 and 24 gauge steel standing seam only, not aluminum, zinc or copper. For painted or Kynar panels ask about the nylon-tipped SSRA1.
Is this kit CSA certified?
No. The anchor, harness and SRL are tested to ANSI and OSHA standards. Check with your AHJ or site safety officer before specifying it on a CSA-governed site.
How much fall clearance do I need?
It depends on where the anchor sits and where the worker is on the slope. Use Frontline's clearance instructions for the RPGC30 and have a qualified person confirm clearance below the roof edge before deploying; on low buildings a 30 ft SRL can need more clearance than you have.
