Why contractors buy anchors here

STANDARDS STATED PLAINLY

Every anchor lists its actual certification — CSA Z259.15, ANSI Z359.18 or OSHA 1926.502. If an anchor is ANSI/OSHA-rated but not CSA-certified, we say so and point you to the provincial acceptance rules.

NON-PENETRATING METAL ANCHORS

Our SSRA standing seam line clamps to the seam with set screws — no holes, no leaks, fully reusable. Singles, deluxe kits and 4- and 8-piece contractor packs in stock.

Roof anchors for every Canadian roof

A roof anchor is the tie-off point your entire fall arrest system depends on — the connection between the worker and the structure. Get it wrong and the harness, lanyard and SRL behind it mean nothing. Fall Protection Canada stocks anchors for every roof type Canadian crews work on, from a reusable shingle anchor to permanent standing seam and concrete systems, all shipped from Paris, Ontario in CAD.

For metal roofs, our own SSRA standing seam anchors clamp to the seam without drilling, while screw-down R-panel anchors cover exposed-fastener steel. Residential crews reach for reusable and permanent shingle and wood anchors from Frontline, FallTech, Malta Dynamics and Safety Direct, and we stock concrete anchors and parapet systems for commercial decks. Roof anchors — common questions

ANSWERS YOU CAN CITE

01

What roof anchor do I need for a standing seam metal roof?

Use a non-penetrating standing seam anchor that clamps to the seam with set screws, like our SSRA line. It attaches without drilling, leaves no holes, and is fully reusable — the standard choice for metal roofs where penetrations would void the roof warranty. Standing seam anchors are typically certified to ANSI Z359.18; check each product page for its exact rating.
02

Are temporary roof anchors reusable, or single-use?

Both exist. Reusable anchors (hinged wood anchors and clamp-on standing seam anchors) can be removed and reinstalled across jobs as long as they pass inspection. Some screw-down or "form-it" style anchors are designed to be fastened and left in place. Each product page states whether the anchor is reusable, temporary or permanent — always inspect a reusable anchor before every use.
03

What standard certifies roof anchors in Canada?

In Canada, anchorage connectors fall under CSA Z259.15. Many imported anchors are certified to ANSI Z359.18 or OSHA 1926.502 instead. A product carrying a CSA mark is CSA-certified; an ANSI or OSHA marking alone is not a CSA certification. Because provincial acceptance of ANSI-only gear varies, we state each anchor's actual certification plainly so you can match it to your provincial OHS rules.
04

Do you ship roof anchors across Canada?

Yes. Fall Protection Canada ships anchors from Paris, Ontario to every province and territory, with same-day dispatch on stocked items and CAD pricing — no brokerage fees or duty surprises. Contractors can call 437-475-2066 for a 24-hour quote on contractor packs and bulk anchor orders.
